Detriti is a not-for-profit, artist-run gallery located in Göteborg, which is founded with the goal of reactivating unused spaces in the city by placing them in the hands of artists.
Detriti is an itinerant and nomadic gallery; it is not bound to one specific location. The current location of Detriti is Risåsgatan 10 in Göteborg.
We understand the obstacles that artists encounter when developing their practices. We want to create a supportive network for artists at any stage of their development, creating a space for experimentation and the pollination of new ideas without the pressure to ‘succeed’.
We provide a platform for artists to showcase their work through open calls, group shows and solo shows and engage with a diverse range of artists to promote a varied output of exhibitions.
We are the small grains that work together to change the course of the water.
