Detriti is delighted to announce Veiled Accelerations, a solo show of Gothenburg based artist Terese Molin.
Central to Molin’s artistic practice is the pursuit of new narratives through abstract weaving, allowing the inherent properties of textile fibres, colour and arithmetics to lead the way.
This new series of artworks are created in conversation with the space and as a material response to the socio-political landscape. In a society dominated by acceleration in many forms, the act of weaving can be a reclaiming of slowness as an expression of social and political resistance.
